Wimbledon Village
This stunning private family home is a true showcase of our creative approach and collaborative process. The brief was to create a timeless, functional home that balanced traditional Georgian character with a modern rear extension. With quality, sustainability and craftsmanship at its core, we shaped a design that reflected how the family wanted to live, now and in the future.
This two-year project was a joy to design from start to finish. It reflects not only the trust our clients placed in us but also the enduring relationships we built with the family and the wider design team. The result is a truly personal forever home, crafted to support the ever-changing needs of family life.
A stunning feature of the home is the sweeping staircase, where we worked with lighting designer Tom Kirk to create a cascading sculptural light installation. For the principal bathroom, we visited many local stone yards to hand pick the most stunning piece of Dover stone and this was carved to create his and hers bespoke vanity joinery. We resourcefully repurposed the leftovers to create a central island and the adjoining dressing room to minimise waste and unify the scheme. Every room featured bespoke joinery including even the functional elements like AC units, and a cleverly concealed laundry chute that were designed with elegance and intention.
