Home Renovation, London, Part

Wimbledon Slopes

It is always a privilege when clients return to us for the next chapter of their home. With the children now older, we were invited back nine years later to reimagine key areas and introduce a new layer of comfort, character and practicality at our Wimbledon Slopes property.

In the kitchen, the former children’s desk area was adapted to better suit the family’s current lifestyle, replaced with a relaxed sofa that creates a softer, inviting place to gather.

The master bedroom was elevated with a beautiful, nature-inspired wallpaper that brings warmth and depth to the room, enhancing the existing architecture while adding a sense of quiet luxury.

In the living room, we elevated the space by removing the bulky high shelves to create a greater sense of openness, re-covering the chairs, and introducing new cushions, lamps, footstools and carefully placed artwork. Additional items were carefully considered to feel cohesive with the earlier phases of the project, while gently refreshing the overall aesthetic.

This stage focused on enhancing what already worked, honouring the original design while allowing it to mature with the family—creating spaces that feel just as thoughtful and welcoming as the day they moved in.

“Nikki brought huge amounts of energy and enthusiasm to the design and fit-out of our new-build where we needed help and advice with absolutely everything including flooring, walls, window dressings, sanitaryware, lighting and soft furnishings.

After an initial meeting, she completely understood what we wanted to achieve and, always conscious of budget, presented shortlists to help narrow down our choices.”
