Our Story
I first launched Nikki Rees Interior design over 10 years ago in 2013. I am passionate about the small details that bring a space to life, promote wellbeing and tell your story.
I have had a love for design since I was young and studied Interior Design at Kingston University giving me a strong foundation and a keen eye for detail. Prior to founding the studio, I had a career in exhibition and retail design which provided me with a wealth of knowledge and experience. But interiors have always been my passion, along with a drive to work personally with clients to help them build their dream space.
It was essential to me to create a bespoke design studio with integrity. We offer a friendly and collaborative approach, tailored to each client’s needs and budget whilst always offering something a little special. This ethos has allowed us to grow successfully and organically through word-of-mouth referrals. We are proud that so many of our wonderful clients have worked with us on multiple projects over the years.

We always take a sensitive approach to design. Each interior is tailored to the client, reflecting their personality as well as lifestyle and dreams. Our aesthetic is understated. We love natural materials, combining them with injections of colour and layering textures. Practical in our strategy, we believe an interior should be effective as well as beautiful.
We thrive on space planning, balancing practical needs with design solutions that reflect how you aspire to feel and live. We enjoy reflecting the story behind the architecture and history of a building, reinforcing its identity, and compounding a sense of home. We personally source and meticulously edit the very best furniture, soft furnishings and lighting, in addition to the finest practical materials and finishes, always considerate to budgets and sustainability. Forever in pursuit of new and inspired products, we champion British craftspeople and artists, collaborating with highly skilled local suppliers, builders and architects.
This ensures we can provide clients with tailor-made, individual pieces with high level precision that have not had to travel too far. Pieces that champion British talent and deliver bespoke interiors with quality and creativity at the heart of everything we do.
Our Service
We offer a full interior design service, seamlessly taking projects from conception through to completion. Our mission is to empower clients, working closely together in decision making right from inception; refining and developing plans and interior drawings as well as custom joinery, all FF&E, lighting, finishes and soft furnishings. We love a mood board and ensure you can visualise your designs throughout the process with one-to-one presentations and showroom visits.
Supporting each project with detailed budgets and procurement, we happily coordinate and monitor deliveries and installations with regular site visits, communicating with tradespeople to ensure successful implementation.
We thrive on perfecting the little details all the way to the finishing touches and enjoy dressing and styling the space, advising on artwork and decorative pieces which breathe life into an interior.
