Daviesites Charterhouse

It was really interesting designing a boarding house lounge for Daviesites Charterhouse. We designed the common room to feel inviting and relaxing for the students and their parents with practical furniture in colour accents that reflect the house colour.

This project was a simple re-decoration and furniture sourcing brief, yet it has had such an impact. The layout was redesigned to make the most of the window and to create a more open space with lots of seating option. An oversized curved sofa hugs the walls to allow student to pile in on movie nights. We created a bible of furniture options that can be used and modified for the other boarding houses as they redevelop their portfolio.
